1. About this policy

Renji Labs, Inc. operates renjilabs.com. This policy explains how we handle information connected with this corporate website and enquiries sent to our company.

Kaiary and Hello Storybook have separate services and privacy policies. For information about family journals, uploaded photos, AI processing, purchases, or product accounts, read Kaiary’s privacy policy or Hello Storybook’s privacy policy.

2. Information we receive

When you email us, we receive your email address, the information you include, and any related correspondence. Please share only what we need to respond to your enquiry.

When you subscribe to our newsletter on this website, we receive the email address you enter and pass it to Ghost, our newsletter provider, which stores it as a subscriber record. To limit abuse, this website briefly counts signup attempts per IP address in memory; it does not store or log those addresses.

When you visit this website, our hosting provider, Railway, may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested page, and request time to deliver the website and maintain its security and reliability. When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics 4, PostHog and Metricool also receive the sanitized page information described in section 5.

3. How we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, manage our business relationships, and keep records of those communications. We use technical information to operate, protect, and troubleshoot this website. We may also process information to comply with legal obligations and address misuse.

We use a newsletter subscriber’s email address only to send the Renji Labs newsletter. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

This corporate website does not offer account registration, accept photo uploads, or process product payments. Those activities take place on the relevant product service.

4. Sharing and service providers

We use service providers for website hosting, company communications and newsletter delivery (Ghost), and Google Analytics 4, PostHog and Metricool as analytics providers when analytics is allowed. They may process information as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction, subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell personal information collected through this website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and analytics

When enabled, Google Analytics 4, PostHog and Metricool measure visits to public pages. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog also measure selected outbound links, including clicks to start an email enquiry. A click is not a submitted enquiry, purchase or app install. Analytics remains off unless the website is configured for it.

We send public page paths without query strings or fragments, fixed page labels, language, selected event names and coarse browser, operating-system and screen information. We do not send enquiry text, email addresses, private or preview pages, or product account identities. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies with a configured lifetime of up to one year. PostHog uses anonymous identifiers held in memory, with no account identification, automatic click capture or session replay. PostHog events disable IP-based geolocation; network delivery still exposes your IP address to the receiving provider. PostHog uses its US ingestion service. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals.

Metricool receives the sanitized public page URL and the analytics frame’s viewport dimensions to measure visits. Its website tag does not set cookies or store identifiers on your device. Metricool states that it uses the connection’s IP address to determine country without storing that address. We do not send it referrers, link-click events or account identities. It follows the same analytics choice described below.

Cloudflare supplies a country code to choose the initial setting. In the United States and Canada, analytics starts automatically unless you have declined. In all other countries, and when the country is unknown, we ask you to allow analytics first. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals block analytics. A saved refusal takes precedence over the regional default. We store your choice in your browser; grants last up to 365 days and refusals remain until you change them.

Videos use a local poster until you choose Play. Playing a video loads YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube then receives your network and playback information under its own privacy policy. Choosing to play a video is separate from your website analytics choice.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to allow or decline analytics whenever a vendor is configured. Declining stops future collection and removes the analytics cookies and storage accessible to this site; it cannot retract events already delivered. Links to other websites open services with their own policies. Your browser or email provider may also process information when you follow a link or send email.

6. Retention and security

We keep correspondence as needed to handle your enquiry, maintain relevant business records, and meet legal requirements. Technical data is retained according to the operational needs of our hosting provider, and analytics data according to each analytics provider’s configured retention settings. We do not promise permanent storage of messages sent to us. Newsletter subscriber records stay with Ghost until you ask us to delete them; unsubscribing stops newsletter emails.

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No online service or method of communication can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information. Use the email control below to contact us and make a request. We may need to verify your identity and the scope of your request before acting.

This corporate website is intended for general company information, not for children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information that should be removed, please contact us.
